Chris Jordan tallied a goal and an assist and
William Helm made 15 saves, as the No. 10 and third-seeded St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team advanced to its second straight Liberty League Championship game, but fell to the No. 2 and top-seeded RIT Tigers 13-5 on Saturday afternoon in Rochester, N.Y.

Ben Hutchinson also scored for the Scarlet and Brown, while Saints' goaltender picked up a team-best six ground balls and caused one turnover, while
Guthrie Little caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls.
Padraic Condon went 7-for-14 in the faceoff circle, while
Tripp Clark picked up three ground balls and caused one turnover.
Murphy scored his 33rd of the season, while Murtagh added his 24th, as the Saints built a 2-0 lead over the Tigers to start today's championship matchup. RIT responded with three of their own to hold the one-goal advantage, but Wells and Jordan scored to knot the game 4-4 after the first quarter of play.
After almost eight minutes, of scoreless action, RIT's Ryan Barnable scored the lone goal of the second quarter giving the Tigers a 5-4 edge at the break.
The Tigers outscored the Saints 4-1 in the third to take a 9-5 lead after three quarters and the Tigers continued their six-goal run to secure their 10th conference title.
"Congratulations to RIT," said head coach
Mike Mahoney. "Although we were in a solid position at the half, we failed to capitalize on some good looks in the second and third and that came back to haunt us. I can't fault the effort, which has been a consistent theme this year. They are a committed group."
"We'll find out our fate tomorrow night and are hopeful that we have done enough to earn a coveted NCAA bid."
Luke Pilcher led the Tigers with four goals and an assist, while Barnable and Clifford Gaston each scored twice.
Helm stopped 15 shots, while Drew Huchinson made 13 saves for RIT.
RIT held a 28-18 lead in shots on goal and held a 13-9 advantage in the faceoff circle. The Saints' defense forced the Tigers to turn the ball over 19 times, including 11 in the first half.
RIT improved to 17-1 overall, while St. Lawrence moved to 13-4 on the season.
The NCAA selection show will air on ncaa.com Sunday evening at 9 p.m. and the Saints will await the results to see if they've earned an at-large bid into the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
