St. Lawrence 10, Potsdam 2 (6 inn.)
In game one of the double header Hopper hit a two-out triple to deep right center field, and scored on a passed ball to put the Saints on the board.
Sofia Adams was up next and hit a triple to the same spot, but was left stranded.
In the bottom of the second

Tori Rotundo reached on a hard slapped ball to third, and danced around between first and second long enough for Harvey to score. Rotundo eventually slid in safe to second.
Vivian Johnson was next up and singled to put runners on the corners. It was Johnson's turn to distract the fielders between first and second to let Rotundo steal home and after two the Saints led 3-0.
The Bears got a pair of runs back in the top of the fourth, but
Kayla Minst hit a leadoff triple in the bottom of the inning to spark a rally. Harvey earned a base on balls, and a wild pitch advanced her to second while scoring Minst.
Sofia Camillieri reached on an error which advanced Harvey, and Camillieri took second while the infield was concerned with Harvey. Both scored on passed balls.
Stella VanGee reached first on a bunt, and Hopper brought her home with another triple. Again Hopper scored on a wild pitch to make it a five-run inning and an 8-2 lead.
In the bottom of the sixth VanGee reached on her second bunt single of the day. Hopper brought her home with her third triple to right center. Adams singled to right field to bring home Hopper, and game one was called due to the eight-run rule.

St. Lawrence 7, Potsdam 3
Jacee Casebolt started in the circle for game two, and did not give up a hit until the fourth inning.
VanGee batting in the two-spot picked up right where she left off by reaching on a bunt, and moved to third on two passed balls. Hopper earned a walk and the Bears let her take second while keeping an eye on the speedy VanGee at third. First baseman
Lauryn Best reached on an error to score VanGee.
Cora Ferguson was next up and singled up the middle to bring home Hopper and make it 2-0 Saints. Adams hit a single to load the bases with one out, but Sierra Ashley retired the next two batters on strikeouts to prevent any further damage.
The Saints scored another on heads-up base running in the bottom of the second. Johnson and VanGee each reached on walks, and Johnson stole third to put runners on the corner. The Saints executed the double steal and Johnson crossed the plate to make it a three run ball game.
A messy play in the top of the fourth brought two Potsdam runs across the plate. With runners on first and second, an infield error sent the ball into right field which scored both runners. Hopper behind the plate caught the throw home from Minst and fired it to VanGee covered second who tagged out the batter trying to advance on the throw. A ground out to third ended the half of the inning and Potsdam closed the gap to just one run.
VanGee reached on a fielder's choice, and Best singled to bring her home and get one run back, making it a 4-2 game. In the bottom of the fifth a walk put Minst on base and she scored when Johnson singled up the middle making it 5-2.
In the bottom of the sixth,
Emily Desjardins pinch ran for Best who earned a walk. She advanced to second on a ground out, and was able to get all the way from second to home on an error by the shortstop. With the bases loaded, Rotundo slapped another ball through the right side to score
Aiyana Holloman. The Saints looked the they might be heading to another run-rule when Johnson hit a dart, but Vanessa Brandt playing second snagged it out of the air to get out of the jam.
Casebolt stepped into the circle to complete the game. Potsdam was able to get one more run one a double steal, but Minst in right field tracked a ball back towards to warning track and made a catch to end the game.
Casebolt improved to 6-4 on the season and gave up just three hits and one earned run.
