Nico Haet went 2-0 on the day for the Saints, but the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team was defeated 5-4 by Coe College on Sunday afternoon at Sanlando Park in Orlando, Fla.
St. Lawrence fell to 3-2 with the loss, while Coe improved to 8-3.
The Saints earned just one win in the Doubles portion of the match in the number three spot. Haet and
John Hill-Edgar teamed up to defeat Nathan Maskell and Jordan Oaks 8-3.
At number three Singles, Haet earned his second win of the day defeting Bo Wilson 6-3, 6-2.
Edvin Strandberg won his lone match of the day beating Nathan Maskell 6-4, 6-2 at number four.
The Saints final win came from
Broderick Pinto at number six, who won 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 over Graham Peterson.
The Scarlet and Brown will be back in action tomorrow when they take on The College of St. Scholastica at 12:00 p.m.
