Brittney Gout scored two goals and
Lucy Morgan made a career-high 50 saves, as the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team came back twice and skated to a 3-3 tie with seventh-ranked Harvard on Monday afternoon in Cambridge, Mass.
With the tie, the Saints moved to 14-11-7 on the season and 10-6-4 in conference play, while Harvard moved to 19-7-1 and 14-5-1.
After a scoreless first period, the Crimson held a 15-5 advantage in shots.
It was the Harvard that would strike first, as Becca Gilmore found Paige Lester, who put the Crimson up 1-0 at 11:02 in the second period.
Abby Hustler scored her 11th goal of the season to knot the game at 13:34.
Nara Elia scooped the puck up behind the Crimson goal, found Hustler high in the slot, who was able to fire a shot over the blocker of Harvard goaltender Becky Dutton.

Skylar Podvey at the point, Podvey sent the puck to
Kristen Guerriero, who found Gout on the edge of the crease for the goal.
Early in the third period the Crimson would knot the game once more, as Anne Bloomer scored off the pass from Taze Thompson at 2:57 and almost four minutes later, Mia Biotti would put Harvard up 3-2 at 6:47.
Gout scored her second goal of the game and would eventually send the contest to overtime. As the original shot from Podvey was blocked, Gout collected the puck at the right circle and with great patience lifted the backhand shot past Dutton for the 3-3 tie with 9:22 remaining.
"That was a fitting end to our weekend in New England," said head coach
Chris Wells. "We were able to come back twice tonight to tie and play at a pace that is preparing us for the playoffs. We scored some nice goals when we needed them. Gout showed great poise on the tying goal."
"Lucy was outstanding and allowed us to find our way back into the game," Wells added. "The last two weekends we have been able to play a lot of hockey and our team is finding its groove. The effort and energy has been great and a big part of why we have had some success."
Harvard outshot the Saints 8-1 in overtime, put Morgan continued her stellar play and kept the game tied.
Morgan stopped 50 shots, while Dutton finished 20.
St. Lawrence finished 1-for-4 on the power play, while Harvard went 1-for-3.
The Scarlet and Brown will return to Appleton Arena and host Cornell and Colgate for the final weekend of the regular season, February 18-19.
