Callum Cusinato has been named a finalist for the ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year award, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Student-Athlete of the Year award is presented annually to an ECAC Hockey men's player who best establishes himself as a leader within their team, in the classroom and in the community.

A captain of this year's team, Cusinato is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma and has been a member of the Crown Royalties Investment Club since his first semester on campus. He works as Teacher's Assistant for a financial economics course, and has been involved with numerous community service and campus engagement projects at St. Lawrence over the last four years. 

He is a consistent Dean's List student with a 3.855 GPA, is a three-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic selection and has been named to the AHCA Krampede All-American Scholar's list twice.

The winner of the 2021 Student-Athlete of the Year Award will be announced on Saturday, March 20.
