Erin O'Brien each scored their first collegiate goals to help lead the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team to a 3-0 shut-out win over Oswego State at Sandy MacAllaster Field on Saturday afternoon.
Â
Julia Mulhern led the Saints with one goal and an assist, while Daley and O'Brien each scored one goal.
Â
O'Brien put the Saints on the board in the 27th minute, after Mulhern crossed the ball from just inside the 18 to allow O'Brien to slip the ball past Lakers' goalkeeper Sophia Portalatin.

Daley, who put the Saints up 2-0 in the 49th minute, capitalized on a rebound off the corner kick for her first career goal.
Â
Mulhern tacked on her fourth goal of the season, with a penalty-kick goal, to give the Saints a 3-0 lead in the 56th minute.
"The entire team worked hard today, but had fun whilst doing so," said head coach
Sinead McSharry. "Every single one of our players enjoyed the ball at their feet and took the courage to own their 1v1 scenarios both defensively and offensively. I'm really proud of their response in the second half and overall that shows a lot of character. We had an unreal atmosphere at the game today and I just want to thank all of our parents, students, support staff and alumni for showing up big."
