The St. Lawrence men's tennis team posted a 9-0 win over Bard on Sunday afternoon in the Newell Field House to earn a split of their Liberty League matches this weekend and improve to 6-4 overall on the season.
The Saints conceded just one game through three doubles matches, as both the teams of
Joshua Marvald and
Nico Haet as well as
Alec Roslin and
Spencer Whitmire posted 8-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Whitmire, the Saints' lone senior and captain, also posted a shutout in his singles match at No. 3, rolling past Bard's Zayd Normand 6-0, 6-0.
Sophomore
Arman Tavana and first-year
Cameron Pankau were also 6-0, 6-0 winners against the Raptors at No. 5 and No. 6.
Haet,
Leo Romanetz, Whitmire and Marvald all helped the Saints to a pair of wins on Sunday.
