The St. Lawrence men's tennis team fell 9-0 to Rochester on Saturday afternoon in Rochester, New York.
Leo Romanetz and
Jordan Mamelak led the Saints with first-set wins at No. 2 and No. 5, respectively, in the loss.
Romanetz battled Runjia Fang in a tight match, with the Saints' sophomore winning 7-5 in the first set before falling by the same margin in the second. Fang won the third 10-7 to earn the point for Rochester.
Sahaj Somani's win at No. 5 over Mamelake secured the shut out for Rochester. Mamelak won 6-4 in the first set, but Somani took the second 6-3 and edged Mamelak 11-9 in the super breaker for the win.
