Jordan Mamelak's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles highlighted the St. Lawrence men's tennis team's 6-3 win over Bethel University on Wednesday evening at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
Spencer Whitmire led the Saints with a pair of wins against the Royals, pairing with
Alec Roslin for an 8-4 decision at No. 3 doubles before beating Bethel's Joey Mueller, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
St. Lawrence took a 2-1 lead after doubles, as
Nico Haet and
Joshua Marvald joined Roslin and Whitmire with an 8-6 win at No. 2.
Leo Romanetz, Whitmire, Mamelak and first-year
Quinn Bermingham earned 2-0 victories in singles play to help the Saints to the win.
St. Lawrence will close out its Florida schedule on Thursday with a match against Illinois Institute of Technology.
