Grace van Tartwijk,
Maddie Nasch and
Carly Jefferson each earned wins in singles without conceding a game, as the St. Lawrence women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over Colorado College on Monday evening in Orlando, Florida.
Five of six singles matches were 2-0 decisions, with van Tartwijk, Nasch and Jefferson winning theirs 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 4-6, respectively.
In the lone match to require a third set,
Katherine Apt battled back from a 2-6 loss in the first set against Annie Zlevor at No. 2 to take the second 6-4 before posting a 10-6 win in the super breaker.
In addition,
Caroline Reilly was a winner at No. 1 and
Christina Ryan earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3.
All six Saints earned wins in both doubles and singles against the Tigers on Monday.
