The St. Lawrence University football team hung with 25th-ranked Union for the first half, but the host Dutchmen scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to remain undefeated on the season with a 38-17 victory at Frank Bailey Field in Schenectady on Saturday afternoon.
Union wide receiver Andre Ross Jr. caught his second touchdown pass of the game on Union's first drive of the third quarter, and Joseph Ferreira scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in the final five minutes of the game to put the game out of reach.

Tyler Grochot connected with
Andrew Murphy for 71- and 42-yard touchdown passes in the first half, the second of which gave the Saints a 14-10 lead with five minutes remaining in the half.
Union responded with Ross' first touchdown of the game on the next drive to take a 17-14 lead, but the Saints tied the game on a 20-yard field goal by
William Manory with just 10 seconds remaining in the half.
Grochot finished the day 26-for-47 passing for 341 yards. Murphy caught five passes for 142 yards, while
Joseph Viscardo had 74 receiving yards on four catches.
Anthony Ferraro and
Cameron Edwards both made seven catches for 63 yards for the Saints.
Ike Irabor led Union's running game with 178 rushing yards with one touchdown on 25 carries. Ferreira added 78 yards on 13 carries for the Dutchmen, who improved to 6-0 overall, 3-0 in the Liberty League.
Union quarterback William Bellamy was 12-for-16 passing for 197 yards and two touchdowns. Ross Jr. led the Dutchmen receivers with four catches for 98 yards.
Ethan Roberts led the Saints' defense with 11 tackles, including one sack and 2.5 tackles for a loss.
Liam Murray added 11 tackles with one behind the line of scrimmage.
Evan Gilland and George Reed each had eight tackles to lead Union's defense.
St. Lawrence, now 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the Liberty League, will host Rensselaer at Leckonby Stadium next Saturday at 1 p.m.
