Liberty League Rookie of the Week (Oct. 16)
Prior to St. Lawrence
A two-year captain, Ruthman was an All-State, All-Long Island and All-County quarterback for Elmont Memorial. He won the Snyder Award as the top quarterback in Nassau County, was the Team MVP, a Nassau All-Star Team MVP, and the Boomer Esaison Foundation/Empire Challeng Football Game Long Island MVP. Also a member of the baseball team, Ruthman excelled in the classroom, making the Principal’s List six times and the Honor Roll three times.
