Brandon Arnold led the Saints with 10 points, but Vassar shot 56.8% from the floor and 47.1% from the arc to defeat the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team 70-49 in Liberty League play on Friday evening in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Ben Crawford finished with a team-best nine rebounds for the Saints.
The Brewers claimed a 10-2 lead just about three minutes into play. The Saints pulled within four points twice, but the Brewers controlled the pace and held a 32-21 lead at the half.

Vassar outscored the Saints 38-28 in the second half and maintained a double-digit advantage for the win.
Alex Seff shot 5-for-10 from the arc and led the Brewers with 17 points, while Paul Grinde and Zach Bromfeld each recorded 16. Bromfeld finished with a double-double recording a team-high 10 rebounds.
Vassar held St. Lawrence to 25.8% shooting. The Brewers recorded 26 points off the bench, while the Saints finished with 16 points off the bench and recorded 10 points off turnovers.
The Saints fell to 11-6 on the season and 8-2 in conference play, while Vassar improved to 8-10 and 4-7.
St. Lawrence will wrap up another Liberty League road weekend at Bard tomorrow afternoon. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
