Rachel Boghosian scored five goals, while first-year
Campbell Armstrong netted four and the two combined for five goals in the second half but it wasn't enough to erase a first half deficit as the St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team fell to RIT, 16-11, in Liberty League play on Tuesday afternoon at Hall-Leet Stadium.
Following Boghosian and Armstrong,
Kayla Schmalz scored two goals and assisted on two others.

A strong first half continued to put RIT on top. The Tigers netted four unanswered goals, capped by a man-up goal from Kendall Jones to take a 5-2 lead over the Saints with 13:42 to play.
The Scarlet and Brown rallied with an unassisted tally from Armstrong and back-to-back goals from Boghosian, just a minute and 22 seconds apart, to tie the game at five.
RIT broke away scoring eight straight goals to close the first half and open up the second. In the spam of nine minutes and 44 seconds, Alanna Fallone recorded a hat trick for the Tigers and Emily Livecchi fed Kendall Jones for back-to-back goals and assists. Colette Rigas closed the run and gave RIT a 13-5 lead with 28:38 remaining in the second half.
The Saints began to rally recording the next three goals to bring the game within five. Schmalz forced a quick shot past Tigers' goalkeeper Paulina Goodermote and then fed Boghosian for her 19th of the season. 39 seconds later, Slade also found Boghosian, who fired another shot to the back of the net.
Brooks Melnyk and Rigas increased RIT's lead to 15-9, before goals from Boghosian, Livecchi and Armstrong to close the game.
Armstrong's 13th of the season brought the game back within five goals, but the clock wound down before the Saints could close the gap any closer.
