Sophomore
Julia Mulhern scored her sixth goal of the season to tie the game in the 82nd minute and force overtime, leading the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team to a 1-1 with Clarkson in Liberty League play on Tuesday night in Potsdam, New York.
Mulhern led the Scarlet and Brown with a goal and recorded three shots on net, while
Isabel Silvia and
Emily Wade each tallied two.
After a scoreless first half, Clarkson's Kendall Cathcart put the Golden Knights on the board in the 72nd minute to take a 1-0 lead.
Just over ten minutes later, Mulhern sent long shot from the right hand side through the fingers of Golden Knights goalkeeper Elyse Green to tie the game 1-1 and eventually force overtime.

Tori Daley and
Katie Clemmer each put a shot on goal throughout the two overtime period for the Saints.
Cathcart led the Golden Knights with a goal, while she and Giulia Mahoney each tallied two shots on goal.
Samantha Allen played all 110 minutes in goal for the Saints and made six saves, while Green finished with nine saves for Clarkson.
St. Lawrence held a slight 17-15 advantage in shots, including a 10-7 edge in shots on goal.
With tonight's tie, the Saints moved to 9-1-4 on the season and 4-1-3 in conference play, while Clarkson moved to 5-8-3 and 1-5-2. After tonight's game, the Saints remain in third place in the league standings.
The Scarlet and Brown will face William Smith on Saturday, October 27 at 2 p.m. for their final regular season game.
