Julia Mulhern tallied a late goal for the Saints, but the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team fell to RIT 2-1 Saturday afternoon in Rochester, New York after Marla Roberts tallied the Tigers' second goal with one minute and two seconds remaining in regulation.

Riley Yankowich put RIT on the board during the seventh minute of play with a header goal off the corner kick.

Mulhern capitalized with a header off a free-kick opportunity for the Saints to tie the game 1-1 in the 71
st minute,
Kira Murphy recorded the assist.

Roberts tallied the late goal for RIT off a long pass from Abbey Saia to clinch the win.

"RIT came at us with a lot of pressure and while it took some time for us to figure out how to match up with their level of intensity, we answered well with a great goal in the second half," said head coach
Franco Bari. "Unfortunately, RIT made one great play at the end of the game and finished well. RIT played well, is very disciplined and well coached. Overall, it was a very competitive match up."

RIT outshot the Saints 11-9 and held an 8-4 shots on goal advantage. Kelly Rogers made three saves for the Tigers, while
Samantha Allen recorded six saves for the Saints.

St. Lawrence fell to 7-4 on the season and 2-2 in Liberty League play. RIT moved to 7-3-1 and 2-1.
