Nov. 8: No. 7 William Smith scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 win over St. Lawrence in the Liberty League Championship game to claim program's eight consecutive league championship.
The Herons, who were the top seed in the tournament, improve to 15-2-1 this season and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. St. Lawrence falls to 12-6-2.

Franco Bari said. "They were extremely aggressive defensively and create dangerous opportunities."
The Herons got on the board with the eventual game-winning goal in the 17
th minute when Krista Longo took a short pass from MaryClaire Pelletier and lifted a shot over St. Lawrence goalkeeper
Kelsey West. They added an insurance goal in the 82
nd minute when Shay Callahan buried a rebound in the box.
William Smith held a 26-5 shot advantage, including a 16-4 edge in shots on goal. West finished with a career-high 13 saves.
"Kelsey was outstanding between the pipes today and really kept us in the game," Bari said. Â "We fought hard and put in a lot of effort. This team truly left everything on the field."
