Biography

2015: West started all 20 games for the Saints in her senior season, finishing with a 13-5-2 record and posting six shutouts … She made a season-high eight saves in the Liberty League Championship against William Smith … In just over 1761 minutes played she made 65 saves and allowed 20 goals for a .765 save percentage and 1.02 goals against average … West earned first team All-Liberty League and second team All-ECAC Upstate honors, and was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic team … She cemented her place in the program record book in career goals against average, minutes played and shutouts.

2014:  After having split time in each of her first two seasons, West stepped into the starting role during her junior season and established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in the region and would eventually earn the team’s Most Valuable Player award ... The Fall River, Nova Scotia native finished with a 12-6-2 record, nine shutouts and a .79 goals against average ... She also recorded a .822 save percentage and is currently among program leaders in career goals against average (.956), minutes played (3768) and career shutouts (16) ... She earned second team All-Conference honors and was named a third team All-Region selection by the NSCAA ... Additionally, West was a member of the Liberty League All-Academic team ... She will serve as a team captain in 2015.

2013:  West made ten starts in her sophomore year and recorded a 1.05 goals against average and a .823 save percentage ... The Fall River, Nova Scotia native was 5-3-2 on the season with three shutouts ... She earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom. 

2012:  West had an impressive debut at goalkeeper in her rookie season with the Saints, posting four shutouts and a record of 4-5-2 ...  Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week twice, West's best performance arguably came on Sep. 8 when she made 12 saves against a talented SUNY Cortland team to earn the shutout. 

Prior to St. Lawrence
West was a three-sport athlete, participating in soccer, basketball and rowing ... A captain and MVP of the soccer squad in 2010, her team was two-time Provincial Champions (2009, 2011) and were national semi-finalists in 2009 ... Named Berkshire School's Top Female Athlete in 2011 and 2012, West was also a member of the Canadian National Training Center for four years ... Academically, she was an honor roll student throughout high school.
