Newell Field House
Opened in 2001, the Newell Field House includes a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track, five indoor tennis courts and basketball courts for intramural or recreational play.
The track and field facility includes an integrated Daktronics scoreboard with lane, place and time designation, synthetic runways for the long/triple jump, high jump and pole vault, and an AAE shot put and weight throw indoor throwing cage. The facility has hosted numerous Liberty League Track and Field Championships in addition to several invitationals each year. The track also serves as the home of the Section X high school indoor track season. Seating for 500 people is available in the upper level.
The tennis courts supplement the outdoor Sammis Tennis Courts, giving the men's and women's teams an opportunity to train and compete early in the spring semester. The courts are also available for use for students, faculty, staff, and fitness center members.
The venue has also been utilized for special events on campus, including the Campaign for St. Lawrence kickoff event, and the inclement weather location for the 2019 Commencement ceremonies.
Newell Field House also houses the Stafford Fitness Center, the outdoor program and the Munro Familiy Climbing Wall.
