Nate Hanna was hired as the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach in August of 2024.
Hanna comes to St. Lawrence from Oneonta, where he played 70 games as a goalkeeper for the Red Dragons' soccer program.
During his career with the Red Dragons, Hanna accrued an impressive 48-12-8 record in over 70 games and provided 23 clean sheets. The goalkeeper accrued over 6154 minutes between the pipes making 226 saves for a .801 save percentage and a .82 goals-against average. Offensively, Hanna earned two assists from his post in the net during his 2022 season. Hanna was a captain of his Red Dragons' squad and earned First-Team All-American honors during his time in Oneonta. While in college, he earned the SUNYAC Tournament
s MVP in 2022, was on the Dean's List, and was a member of ODK's (Omicron Delta Kappa) National Leadership Honor Society.Â
Outside of his time at SUNY Oneonta, Hanna was drafted 5th overall by Utica City FC in the MASL, and served as a coach for SDA in goalkeeping and assistant capacities.
The Baldwinsville, N.Y. native graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from SUNY Oneonta.
