Kadin deRuijter was named the St. Lawrence University's Esports Coordinator in March of 2023.
deRuijter comes to St. Lawrence after serving as the Esports Head Coach at Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts. At Assumption, he was responsible for maintaining all esports computing infrastructure, evaluating and deploying new streaming software, coordinating practice schedules for seven esports teams and providing a coaching environment for all esports athletes that promotes community and academic achievement.
In addition to his esports duties, deRuijter also served as the Resident Director at Assumption.
Prior to working at Assumption, he also worked remotely as an analyst and head coach of Qor Gaming in Las Vegas, Nevada.
deRuijter earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Family Consumer Sciences and his Master’s in Disease Prevention from Springfield College.
