Murphy played soccer at Miss Porter's School in Connecticut, where she developed into a standout midfielder and leader for the program... She served as captain of both the varsity soccer and squash teams during her senior year and earned All-Founders League honors as a senior... Murphy was also named All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention in both her junior and senior seasons, recognizing her consistent impact on the field... A multi-sport athlete, she also competed in squash and lacrosse throughout her high school career... Outside of school, Murphy played club soccer for FSA ECNL.
