A 2003 and 2007 (M.ED) graduate of St. Lawrence University, John Pezdek has worked with the Saints volleyball team as a faculty-staff mentor since 2010.
Pezdek currently works in the University Advancement office as an Associate Director of Major Gifts and Parent Leadership Giving, developing relationships with alumni, parents and friends to match their philanthropic goals and interests to the initiatives that complement the mission of St. Lawrence University. Prior to joining the Advancement team, he worked as Saints assistant men's and women's golf coach alongside Mary Lawrence.
John, who played on a New York State high school championship volleyball team in high school, currently serves on the Philanthropy Task Force, is the President of the St. Lawrence Golf & Country Club and is Co-Founder and Director of the North Country Junior Golf Tour. A Division III All-America in his senior year, he has continued his strong play on the links as a four-time club champion.
