Biography
2011-12: Marissa ran the 800 and competed in the pole vault during the 2011-12 indoor season. She earned Liberty League All Academic honors. Outdoors: Marissa placed fifth in the 400 hurdles at the Liberty League championships and turned in a PR of 1:10.01 in that event at the NYSCTC. She also competed in the pole vault
2010-11: Marissa competed in the long sprints, 400 hurdles and the pole vault in her first season of intercollegiate track and scored in the Liberty League championships with a third place outdoors in the pole vault and a sixth in teh 400 hurdles. She also ran on the third place 4x800 realy team in the NYSCTC indoor championships.
At Auburn High School
Marissa played soccer in addition to running indoor and outdoor track and field. She was varsity soccer capain, an all league selection and was a Section III indoor and outdoor championship competitor in both the 400 and the pole vault. She was a member of the National Honor Society, a high honor roll student and class Salutatorian.
