Biography
Prior to St. Lawrence
Castagnier was a two-year captain of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Massena, where qualified for the NYSPHSAA State Championships six times. She won the Section X 100-meter hurdle title as a junior and was a part of two Section X championship relay teams, earning First- and Second-Team All-Northern recognition several times. Castagnier was also an excellent student, earning membership in the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. She earned Academic All-Northern honors and was a high honor roll student.
