Erik Geier ’23 has been named the Graduate Assistant Coach for the St. Lawrence University men’s and women’s track and field teams in August of 2023.
A team captain and four-year member of the Saints track and field team, Geier helped plan pre-season workouts and practices, assisted in the recruiting process, helped with the operation of the cross country regionals and aided in volunteer activities.
A standout on the track, Geier’s collegiate-bests include 7.20 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 11.42 seconds in the 100-meter dash, as well as 8.24 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 14.85 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles. He also earned multiple weekly Liberty League accolades and earned All-Region and
All-Liberty League honors.
He was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, as well as multiple honor societies including – Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Epsilon, and Chi Alpha Sigma. He also earned USTFCCCA and Liberty League All-Academic honors and was a Dean’s List student.
Geier graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree as a double major in Economics and Business in the Liberal Arts and a minor in Philosophy.
