Carly Stine '15, who graduated with nine New York State Collegiate Track Conference titles and six wins at Liberty League Track and Field Championships, returned to the St. Lawrence University track and field program as an assistant coach in 2017.
Stine qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400-meter hurdles in 2012 and 2013 and also excelled in multi-event competitions, with three runner-up finishes at NYSCTC Championships in the pentathlon/heptathlon.
Prior to her return to St. Lawrence, Stine served as the head coach of the girls' track and field team at South Burlington High School in South Burlington, Vermont, and also spent a season as a volunteer assistant coach at the school. She worked closely with the team's multi-event athletes and designed the training plan for the team's sprinters, hurdlers and relays. She also spent the last year and a half as a program manager for Technology for Tomorrow, a non-profit organization devoted to offering free technology education to positively impact under-served members of the community.
