Biography
2012-13: Ariel was second in the NYSCTC indoor championships in the 5000, second in the Liberty Leaue indoors in the mile and fifth in the NYSCTC Indoor 1000. She also had a fourth in the Liberty League indoor 800 and ran on 4x800 and Distance Medley relay teams.
2011-12 Indoor: Ariel ran on the NYSCTC champion Distance Medley relay which set the SLU record and established personal bests at a number of distances during the indoor season. She ran the 800, 1000, 3000 and mile. She earned Liberty League All Academic honors.Outdoor: Ariel was fourth in the 1500 at the Liberty League championshp and third in the 5000 at the NYSCTC championship. She ran a personal best in the 1500 at Oneonta.
2010-11: Ariel ran in the Cortland, Liberty League Championships and the NYSCTC Championships in the 1500 during the outdoor season, recording a season best time of 5:12.78 in the NYSCTC Championship.
At Wachusett Regional
Beccia competed in Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. The Rutland, MA native captained all three squads and was a three-time Most Valuable Performer for the cross country team. A two-time All-District selection for cross country, Ariel was a member of the National Honor Society and both the French and Math Honor Societies.
