Prior to St. Lawrence
Wieneke settled into a prominent role with the Maryland Black Bears in the 2022-23 season going 14-6-1 with a 2.10 goals against and a .905 save percentage... The netminder went 5-0-0 to start 2023-24 for the Black Bears before moving to the Lone Star Brahmas... He would play in the final 28 games for the Brahmas going 22-2-3 with a 1.39 goals against and a .942 save percentage... Wieneke helped lead the team to their second-ever Robertson Cup title going 5-1-1 in the playoffs and was named to the All-Tournament Team along with being named the NAHL Goaltender of the Year.
