Noah Murphy joined the St. Lawrence University men's and women's tennis coaching staff in August of 2023 as an assistant coach, and was named the head coach for both programs in July 2025.
Murphy, who spent his first two years as the assistant coach for both programs, helped lead the women's program to a 13-0 start in 2024-25 and to a program record of 16 wins, tying the women's record. In the Spring of 2025, he earned his Master of Arts in Leadership from St. Lawrence University.
Murphy, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, has a bachelor's degree in psychology with coursework in social, cognitive, sports, developmental, abnormal, and biopsychology. Noah started his college career at Southwestern College in Kansas where he was a two-year member of the men's tennis team.
Murphy recently served as the Vice President of the University of Arkansas tennis club team where he took on numerous administrative duties. Noah got his first taste of coaching at the Southwestern College's tennis camp where he instructed elementary up to high school tennis players.
