Greg Kreitzer

Greg Kreitzer, a four-year member of the Hamilton tennis team, was named the head coach of the St. Lawrence University women's team in the summer of 2013 and enters his fifth season with the program in 2017-18.  He also assists with the men's and women's squash teams.

In his first year at the helm of the program, Kreitzer coached the Saints to a 16-4 record helping them earn a No. 12 regional ranking at the end of the season. Additionally, he had three individuals and one doubles team earn All-Conference honors. 

Under his direction during the 2014-2015 season, the team achieved a national ranking of No. 36 in the fall and finished 16th in the ITA's Northeast regional rankings at the end of the season. He also coached a regionally-ranked doubles team in Elkie Vandenbeemt and Morgan McNeal, as the duo finished No. 15 in the Northeast.

He was named the Liberty League Coach of the Year following the 2015-16 season after helping the Saints earn the number one seed in the conference tournament and advancing to the championship match for the first time since October 2005. The team was also ranked as high as No. 31 nationally in 2015-16. 

Through the 2016-17 season Kreitzer has a 55-28 record in dual matches and has coached 17 All-Liberty League players. Under his guidance the Saints received the ITA All-Academic Team Award in 2014, 2015 and 2016 for having a combined team GPA of a 3.2 or higher. 

Kreitzer joined the Saints' staff in the fall of 2012 as a graduate assistant for both men's and women's tennis following a year as an assistant coach at Allegheny College.  A two-time captain for the Continentals, Kreitzer was ranked fourth for most doubles wins in the school's history at the time of his graduation.  In his senior season, he was named to the NESCAC All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship teams, and was also an ITA Scholar Athlete. 

Kreitzer has served as a member of the NCAA Northeast Ranking Regional Advisory Committee and as an NCAA Site Representative. 

A 2011 graduate from Hamilton, he earned his B.A. in economics and communications. Additionally, he earned his Masters in ED Leadership from St. Lawrence in 2014.
