2013-14: Rettstatt was one of Saints most consistent competitors as a sophomore, earning 155 points, seven individual wins, seven second-place finishes and three thirds. She swam a personal best time of 5:19.29 in the 500 free at the UNYSCSA Championship meet to finish 19th. She also grabbed a 11th- and 12th-place finish at the State meet, while helping the Saints place 10th in the 800 free relay. She was one of the Saints top performers at the Liberty League Championships, finishing third in the 1650 freestyle. 

2012-13: A versatile swimmer who competed in all of the freestyle events plus the individual medley's Rettstatt showed improvement in all of her times from the start of the season to the finish and was the third leading scorer among rookie women with 122.50 points. She had six first, four seconds and three thirds in individual events.

At Glastonbury: An all-state and all-league swimmer, Rettstatt was a captain and the recipient of the sportsmanship award for swimming. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and a high honor roll student.
