Biography
2013-14: Leinders swam primarily in freestyle events for the Saints during her sophomore season, compiling 63 points and six top-three finishes with one individual victory. She earned two top-15 finishes at the Liberty League Championships, placing 11th in the 100 free and 13th in the 200. At the UNYSCSA meet, she helped the Saints to a trio of tenth-place finishes in freestyle relays at the 200, 400 and 800 distances.Â
2012-13: Leinders competed in the free and fly in her rookie season and was a member of the 400 and 800 free relays. She scored 55 points with a second and four thirds in individual events in addition to her relays.
At Livonia: Leinders was a member of the swim, lacrosse and track teams and earned Rookie of the Year, MVP and County All Star honors. She was a team captain and Sectional champion and was a member of the National Honor Society. She also earned high honor roll honors and was an AP Scholar with Honors.
