Prior to St. Lawrence

Kroll was a member of the varsity swim team at Potsdam for six years and was also a member of the track and field team. She was the team's Rookie of the Year as a seventh grader and was a five-time team MVP. She won the Section X Outstanding Sportsmanship Award as a senior and competed at the state championship meet as a junior. She was a three-year captain of both her swimming and track and field team. Academically, she graduated in the top five in her class, was a three-time Academic All-Northern selection in swimming, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
