Prior to St. Lawrence

Freeman played soccer at Milton High School in Vermont, where she earned a range of honors including Rookie of the Year, Honorable Mention All-League, Second Team All-League, First Team All-League, and All-State recognition… She was also a two-time state champion and received the Coaches Award and Spirit Award… Academically, Freeman was a Summa Cum Laude graduate, a member of the National Honor Society, and earned multiple awards for continued excellence in French, Mathematics, English, and Science… She was also honored with the Athletic Leadership Council Award, the HOBY Academic All-Star Award, and the VPA Scholar-Activity Award… Freeman played club soccer for Nordic Soccer Club, serving as a three-year captain… She also coached youth soccer and volunteered with the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program as an ambassador and junior facilitator.
