Hayward was named a graduate assistant coach for the St. Lawrence women's soccer program in summer 2019.
A 2019 graduate of Hamilton College, Hayward captained the Continentals women’s soccer team as a senior and was both a Second-Team All-NESCAC and Second-Team All-New England Region selection in 2018. She played in 60 career games and finished with seven points as a defender.
Hayward was a recipient of Hamilton’s Ned Doyle Prize Scholarship, which is awarded to students who made significant contributions to the college’s extra-curricular programs. While in Clinton, she served as an orientation leader, resident advisor, volunteered with the Strong Girls program and participated in service trips during spring break.
Her previous coaching experience includes work as the Pomfret Girls Soccer Academy since 2012, in addition to coaching at camps and ID clinics at Hamilton, Trinity College and Dartmouth College. In addition, she was selected to attend the NESCAC Women’s Coaching Symposium in the spring of 2017. She has both “E” and “F” national coaching silences from US Soccer.
