Biography
2013: Derksen appeared in a pair of games in her rookie season, Wellesley and Elmira, and will compete for a starting defensive spot as a sophomore.
At Glebe Collegiate Institute
Derksen was a three-sport athlete, participating in soccer, cross country and track and field. A two-year captain, she earned the “Leadership Award” as a senior and the Coaches Award as a junior. Academically, Derksen was a four-year member of the Honor Society and four-time silver medal award winner for an average of over 90 percent. The Ottawa, ONT native also earned the Glebe Girls’ Alumnae Award for academic and athletic excellence.
