Prior to St. Lawrence

Downs was a tri-sport captain of the soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams at Hugh C Williams. She earned First-Team All-Northern honors in lacrosse, the New York State Sportsmanship award in lacrosse, and Second-Team All-Northern honor in basketball and soccer. She was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student. Downs is the daughter of Chris, head men's basketball coach, and Tonki ('96) Downs.
