Prior to St. Lawrence

Stanton was a member of the field hockey, track and lacrosse teams at Reading Memorial High School. She was captain of the track and lacrosse teams, was a field hockey state champion and earned Middlesex league all-star honors for lacrosse. She was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.
