French played lacrosse at IMG Academy and was captain of the varsity team her senior year... She was invited to U19 Team Canada Invitational tryout, and was a member of the Team Ontario Box Lacrosse Team, winning a silver medal at 2017 Nationals... French was also a member of the National Honor Society and was a four year honor roll student.
