Prior to St. Lawrence

Hoffman played ice hockey and lacrosse at Thayer Academy. The Hingham, Mass., native was an honor roll student and captained the lacrosse team her senior year... Colby's father, Tom Hoffman '75, played football for St. Lawrence. Her father and grandfather helped inspire the Annual Hoffman Cup football game between the Saints and the Merchant Marine, which was played from 2003-2016. Since 2017, the Hoffman Cup game has been played against the Saints and Norwich. She is the youngest of The Hoffman's four children.
