St. Lawrence University Athletics

2013:  VanTassel continued her offensive contributions in her junior year, recording 13 goals and 18 assists, while adding 14 ground balls and two draw controls.  The Adams Center, NY native finished the season ranked ninth in the Liberty League in the assists per game category (1.06) and also earned IWLCA and All-Liberty League Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom.  She is an environmental students and government major. 

2012: VanTassel became a key scoring threat for St. Lawrence in her sophomore year, as she led the team with 16 assists.  A member of the Liberty League's All-Academic team, she totaled 27 points, fourth on the roster, including a career-high six-point outing in a win over Potsdam State (2g,4a). 

2011: VanTassel saw time in three games for the Saints and totaled one goal, one assist and a ground ball.  A member of the sophomore class council and the Singing Sinners, she is majoring in government and environmental studies at St. Lawrence.

At South Jefferson
VanTassel was a stand-out student-athlete, earning awards for Lacrosse, Cross Country and Track and Field while being inducted into the National Honor Society. The Adams Center, NY native earned All-Star lacrosse status and was the recipient of the "Exceptional Senior Award" for her play. VanTassel was also a three-time state qualifier for Track and Field.
