2023-24 Season

A backup netminder for the Saints in 2023-24, Alvarez appeared in four games for the Saints and played 43:25 minutes between the pipes. She finished the season with a .880 save percentage and a 4.19 goals against average and made 22 saves.

Prior to St. Lawrence

Alvarez joins the Saints as a graduate transfer from SUNY Canton. As a senior at Canton, she started 22 of the 24 games she appeared in posting a 12-10-1 record with a .920 save% and a 2.52 goals against average. She recorded five shutouts and set the Roos program record for career shutouts and was named NEWHL Goaltender of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors. Prior to joining the Roos, the Jyväskylä, Finland native, played ice hockey at Lyseo High School, Banff Hockey Academy, and for the HTI Stars.
