2014-15: Thompson appeared in one game as a junior, earning the first start of her career against Dartmouth in November in a non-league matchup in Rochester. She made 29 saves with three goals against in 57:40.

2013-14: Thompson appeared in one game for the Saints as a sophomore, making eight saves in 24:54 minutes played.

2012-13: Thompson appeared in three games in net for the Saints in her rookie season.

Pre-St. Lawrence
Thompson was an exceptional student-athlete, playing both hockey and field hockey while earning several academic distinctions. She was selected to Team USA's Development Camp for hockey and was both the captain and MVP of the field hockey team. A High Honor student and member of both the National and Spanish National Honor Societies, Mikaela is the daughter of Bob and Michele Thompson and was born March 23, 1994.
