Prior to St. Lawrence

Gescheidle played football, baseball and was a member of the indoor track team at Highland High School. He earned All-Section, All-League and honorable mention honors for state. He is a high school 55mm record holder and received the Sportsmanship Award. Gescheidle was also a member of the National Honor Society and earned the Triple “C” Award.
