Prior to St. Lawrence

Degeer was a member of the cross country, volleyball, badminton, track and field, soccer and field hockey teams at Haliburton Highlands Secondary School and played hockey for the Central York Jr. Panthers. She was an honor roll student all four years, earned the Grade 9 French Award and the Grade 11 Finance Award. For the Panthers she was the leading scorer in 2023-24 and 2024-25, served as the assistant captain in 2023-24 and the team captain in 2024-25.
