2013: Lydia ran in six races as a rookie with a top finish of second in the Clarkson/Canton tri meet. She was 20th at Plattsburgh, 30th in the Hoffmann INvitational and 37th in the Liberty League among other top finishes.

Captain of the cross country team at Hanover High School, Lydia also ran outdoor track and was on the Nordic ski team and a ski jumper in the winter season. She was an honor roll student.
