Prior to St. Lawrence

Coolican was a three-season runner at Westhill, where she earned First-Team All-League, was named the Newcomer of the Year, was a five-time MVP and won Senior Medallion and Senior Sportsmanship Awards. She also excelled in the classroom as an honor roll student and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Music National Honor Society.
