Middleton was a tri-sport athlete competing in soccer, basketball and track at Barrington High School. She earned First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Division honors in soccer and First-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-Division and First-Team All-State honors in basketball. Middleton was a four-year honor roll student.
