Prior to St. Lawrence:

Attended Greenwich, was a New York State softball champion in 2022, as well as a Section II basketball champion in 2023. Niesz was second-team all-New York State in 2023, a two-time league MVP (2022 and 2023), a two-time Section II all-tournament team member, and had 1,000 points in her high school career. She was recognized as a Section II scholar-athlete and a member of national honors society.
